What is steamed green tea?
This refers to the standard Japanese tea made using the most typical manufacturing method. If you are unsure which product to choose, try this one first.
How steamed green tea is made
We do everything from cultivation to processing ourselves.
We limit the yield and harvest only the tastiest tea leaves.
April. At Yame Wanihachi tea farm, we harvest only the soft tea leaves that have just sprouted. Although the yield is limited, we use only the best-tasting tea leaves.
* "Hand-picked Sencha "Kanasako"" is harvested by hand, not by machine.
Processing in a small tea factory in the village
The tea leaves harvested from the tea mountain are moved to a small tea factory where they are processed by machine to turn into finished tea, a process known as "tea production."
Some teas go through a process called "withering" before going to the factory.
While carefully assessing the condition of the tea leaves,
We never leave it up to the machine, but rather stay in constant contact with it, carefully assessing the condition of the tea leaves by scent, texture, and color as we go through each process , until the tea that we deliver to you is complete.
